Populations
Although I have extensive experience treating children, adolescents, and adults in various clinical settings and levels of care, I currently primarily serve clients who are adults and older adolescents, ranging from 17-65 years old.
What To Expect
The first session will be focused on getting to know you, collecting history, and conducting a biopsychosocial assessment and diagnostic evaluation so we can formulate a treatment plan, which I will then review with you.
I firmly believe that therapy is a collaborative relationship and that my clients are the experts of themselves. The therapeutic relationship is deeply important and integral to any change. Relationships heal; therefore, we are the medicine.
As Brene Brown insightfully says, "Clear is kind. Unclear is unkind." It is this lens that I strive to embody in my therapeutic relationships through transparent communication, meaningful connection, and a touch of humor.
